If you do not receive notifications or acknowledgement emails from WISEflow, it is most likely because the emails have been caught in the spam/junk filter of your email. Look for the folder in your email program where filtered emails are stored (These folders are most likely named using the following key words: Junk, Spam or Unwanted). Find the mail from WISEflow and tell the program that it is not a junk mail.
If you want to be sure to receive emails from WISEflow in the future, create "firstname.lastname@example.org" as a contact in your email address book.
Another reason that you may not be receiving notifications from Wiseflow might be that the settings of your email account are set incorrectly. To access these settings, click your name in the top right corner and choose "Edit profile".
Go to the pane "Email":
The Email section of your profile shows the email addresses that are added to your account, and whether or not notifications are sent to the addresses. You can edit email addresses with the pencil. It is important to check whether the email service you check for notifications is set to receive these (Tick of "Receive notifications").
To add a new address, press "Add email", write the correct address, and press Save settings to send a confirmation email to the newly added address.
A third reason that you might not have received start up or activation notifications from a flow that you a assigned to, might be that you were added to the flow after these notifications were sent. If you know that you are supposed to be part of an exam with Wiseflow but have not received any notifications, it is important to check the list of assigned flows in the Participant section of Wiseflow, as you do not need the mails to access the exam.
