There are several different ways a user can be created. Depending on your license setup they may be created when they login or through a SIS integration. If your license does not have any of those options, the users will have to be created manually by either a License Administrator or a Support with the extended supporter role.
Bulk creation of users as a License Administrator
In the License Administrator section under license configuration you will find the Manage users tool. The tool can be used to create or edit lots of users at a time using Excel spreadsheets downloaded from WISEflow.
In order to create new users you will have to download an empty template.
The empty spreadsheet has 2 sections, the top section contains information that is protected and should not be edited at all. The bottom section is where you add all the users that is to be created.
After adding all the users have been added to the spreadsheet and it has been saved, it is time to upload the spreadsheet to WISEflow. This is done to the right of where you downloaded the template. Once the filled template has been uploaded it will show all the changes below in a new table.
The table with the changes will give you the option to make last minute changes, if you spot any errors. Once you are satisfied, click on Save changes to create all the users.
Note: The Excel file must be kept in the .xlsx format. You cannot add more than 1000 users at once.
Add users one at a time as a Supporter
You can also add users if you have the role "Extended supporter".
- Click on the pane "Add user"
- Fill out the fields regarding organisation specific settings and user specific settings
- Save the user in user addition list
- See that the user will appear in the list to the right
- Repeat 2-4 as many times as needed
- Once all the users are added to the User Addition list, click on "Create users"
