It is possible to grant a timed access to a WISEflow user profile, provided you have the WISEflow AccessToken module added to your institution's licence. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact UNIwise.
When WISEflow AccessToken is added to your licence, the licence manager has access to the function on the "Edit user" page found when searching for users (also accessible to Extended Supporters). Go to the Supporter-tab. In "Search user", find the user you want to give an Access token.
Click the "Edit user"-button .
After clicking the "Edit user", you will see the following editing screen:
- Click the "Add"-button in the "Access with link" section. This opens the Access link generation screen.
- Choose the recipient email address for receiving the access link. Choose from the drop-down menu. Access token requires a valid activated email address to be created.
- Choose a date for when the access should expire.
- Choose a password (Optional). Important! The password is designed be used as an extra security measure. Therefore, the password is not sent from Wiseflow to the recipient of the access token and the user has to be informed of the password manually.
- Click "Create".
Note: An email notification is automatically sent to the recipient with the access link.
When you have created the Access token, it can be seen in the "Edit user" menu, under "Access with link". From here, you can edit or delete the generated access token.
