This short guide goes through sharing annotations with co-assessors and/or participants. You can choose how to share annotation either as you go (sharing a annotation) or choose sharing options for all created annotations after the fact (Go to Sharing multiple annotations at once).
Sharing an annotation
First, we want to create an annotation. In this example, we have highlighted the text in the top of the paper and chosen the "Highlight" annotation type.
In the annotation window, we look for the button in the bottom-left part of the annotation editor.
This button gives access to the sharing feature of the assessor tool. From here, you can choose to share with the participant, co-assessors, all or none. When the button says "Private", your annotation is not presently being shared with anyone.
Select one or more to share your annotation.

Sharing multiple annotations at once
For this example, we have created four annotations.
In the "Annotations"-menu to the right, we can see that we have not shared any of these annotations yet. This is indicated by the "Private" message to the right of each annotation.
First, we want to share all our annotations with our co-assessor. Click the blue pencil-button beside "Actions" in the top. This gives us the ability to select the annotations in our list. (1) the top box, allows us to select all annotations, (2) the box beside "Page 1" allows us to select all annotations on Page 1, and (3) all boxes beside annotations allow us to select specific annotations (as many as we want!).
We click the topmost box to select all of our annotations. Now we can share all of these annotations to co-assessors via the "Actions"-menu in the top.
By clicking "Share with co-assessors", we set all selected annotations to be shared with co-assessors.
Now, we want to share our three last annotations with the participant. We deselect the first annotation and click "Share with participant" in the "Actions"-menu.

Notice that this does not remove the sharing with co-assessor but sets these three annotations to be shared with "All".
Note: You cannot un-share with participants by clicking "Share with participant" again (Same for co-assessor). Here you will have to set annotations as "Private" from the Actions-menu and the click the missing sharing option again.
