Registering a grade in WISEflow has two purposes in accordance with the settings of the flow. A flow can either be set up with or without the Submit final assessment setting.
Without this setting, the registering of the grade is simply for the assessors own sake, allowing an overview of given grades or cooperation between assessors etc. In this case, grades are not transferred to the managers view of the flow or any SIS.
With this setting, the registering of grades, submits a final grade to the participant on the flow. From this point, the submitted grade is locket from the assessor. Flow managers can re-open grade submission for the assessor if needed.
Submitting a grade (without Submit final assessment)
From the flow-page the Assessor can access the Register marks-page (1). You can also export the grades as a PDF or CSV (2).
From this page you can overview already assigned grades (may be assigned from Annotate) and register new grades for participants. These grades are solely for the assessor and are not registered to any other system than WISEflow.
Submitting grade (with Submit final assessment)
With Submit final assessment the register marks button turns green.
This opens up the Submit-option for the assessor. You can either submit all graded participants at once (non-graded participants will not be submitted until a grade has been chosen) or individually by clicking the participant in the overview list.
Submitted grades are locked for the assessor, but can be re-opened by the manager.
