Registering a mark in WISEflow can have one of two purposes depending on the settings of the flow. A flow can either be set up with or without the "Submit final assessment" setting.
Without this setting, the registering of marks is simply for the assessors own sake, allowing an overview of given marks or cooperation between assessors etc. In this case, marks are not transferred to the managers view of the flow or any SIS.
With this setting, the assessor submits a final mark to the participant on the flow. From this point, the submitted mark is locked from the assessor. Flow managers can re-open mark submission for the assessor if needed.

Submitting a mark (without Submit final assessment)
From the flow-page, the assessor can access the mark overview (1). You can also export the marks as a PDF or CSV (2), however this options requires the license administrator have allowed you to access this function.
From this page, you can see already assigned marks (may be assigned from Annotate) and register new marks for participants. These marks are solely for the assessor and are not registered in any other system than WISEflow.
Submitting mark (with Submit final assessment)
With "Submit final assessment" the button turns green.
This opens up the Submit-option for the assessor. You can either submit all assessed participants at once (non-assessed participants will not be submitted until a mark has been chosen), or individually by clicking the participant in the overview list.
Submitted marks are locked for the assessor, but can be re-opened by the manager.
Submitting administrative assessments
Usually administrative assessments is set by the managers, but your license administrator may have allowed you to submit them. If this is the case it is done from the same place where you submit marks with final assessment turned on.
Open the mark overview
Then click on the students name to open the assessment menu. If you are allowed to set administrative assessments, you will see a submenu called Admin Assess that you can open.
After opening the submenu there will be a dropdown where you can select an administrative assessment that is available on your license. Once you have selected one of the option the Submit assessment button will become available and the click on it to submit the chosen administrative assessment.
Assessing offline outside of WISEflow
In WISEflow it is possible to grade the participants offline by exporting a xlsx-fil with all the participants on it. This way you can grade the participants at any given time from your computer in this xlsx-fil. When you are done grading the participants, it can all be imported back into WISEflow, where you will be able to see the changes that were validated and which were not.
By looking at the coloured boxes above the participant list, you can get a quick overview over which changes went through and which did not. To find which changes were not approved, you can look at the individual participants and see if they have a green checkmark or a yellow warning triangle. Hovering over the yellow triangle will show what you were trying to change their grade to.
