If you do not receive emails from WISEflow, it is most likely because the emails have been caught in the spam/junk filter of your email. Look for the folder in your email program where filtered emails are stored (These folders are most likely named using the following key words: Junk, Spam or Unwanted). Find the mail from WISEflow and tell the program that it is not a junk mail.
If you want to be sure to receive emails from WISEflow in the future, make sure you add the sender as a contact in your email address book. Most email clients will ask if you want to add the sender to your address book, when you mark an email as not spam/junk mail.
Incorrect email settings in your profile
Another reason that you may not be receiving messages from WISEflow is that the settings of your email account are set incorrectly. To access these settings, click your name in the top right corner and choose Edit profile.
Go to the pane Email:
The Email section of your profile shows the email addresses that are added to your account, and whether or not notifications are sent to the addresses. You can edit email addresses with the pencil . It is important to check whether the email service you check for messages is set to receive these (Check the box Receive messages).
To add a new email address, press Add email, write the correct address, and click the green plus button. Before the new email address is saved, you need to click Save settings and that will send an activation email to the newly added address. The Status shows if the email is activated and can receive messages from WISEflow or is missing activation. It is also possible to resend the activation email if you need a new one.
Added to a flow late
A third reason for not receiving messages from a flow that you assigned to, might be that you were added to the flow after some of these messages were sent. If you know that you are supposed to be part of an exam with WISEflow but have not received any message, it is important to check the list of assigned flows in your section of WISEflow, as you do not need the mails to access the exam.
If you want to be sure this is the case, please contact the flows administrator for confirmation on this.
