FLOWattend is a flowtype for registration of participant turnout in class (and similar). The assessor can note digitally if the participant is present or absent in class and afterwards share the assessment with the participant. At the flow overview the participant can see the start and end date for the flow and the shared assessment. It is not possible for the participant to hand in on a FLOWattend.
For the manager, FLOWattend is very similar to to a general FLOWassign, except in:
- Advanced settings
The participant and assessor periods for a FLOWattend have the same starting time but separate end times.
Click "Edit" to change the periods.
Click the right field to open a calendar. Here you can pick the date and change the time below. In the example, we want to have the attending period extend over a week (e.g. maybe for a week long course).
Click "Done" when the correct date and time has been set. The dates cannot end be set earlier than the data above, indicated by the red border.
Click "Save" to set the dates for assessment and participation periods.
FLOWattend allows the manager to hide the flow for Participants. This setting can be set ON or OFF by default, by contacting WISEflow.
Note: When activating this setting on the flow we recommend that you also deactivate the messages sent from WISEflow to the participants on a FLOWattend. This can otherwise contribute to confusions among the participants.
For FLOWattend, the Assessor tool does not have access to the annotation tools, as participants do not hand in materials via WISEflow. However, you can still add general and participant comments or use a rubric.
Assessor register grades as per usual from the Assessor tool or directly from the flow page.
For participants, FLOWattend is solely used to relay messages and materials (i.e. the assignment, curriculum, and/or additional materials), if the flow is shown to them. The flow page displays a count down till the assignment is available when the participation period has not started yet.
