LockDown Browser

In regards to logging in FLOWlock and FLOWmulti we have the following statement from the provider Respondus:

  • LockDown Browser has been available for more than 10 years, with enterprise-wide use at nearly 1,500 educational institutions around the world, and over 60 million exams per year. Some of the largest testing centers throughout the world rely on the LockDown Browser technology.
  • LockDown Browser is based on the Chromium Embedded Framework, the underlying technology of Google Chrome. LockDown Browser does not access any data on the target computer nor does it communicate with any servers other than the UNIwise server.
  • LockDown Browser is poked and prodded by system administrators at each educational institution that installs LockDown Browser in their computer labs. It is also included in third-party penetration testing performed on a regular basis.
