The Device Monitor is only available upon request for an additional charge. Please reach out to UNIwise if you wish to learn more about the module.
If you are required to participate in a flow with the Device Monitor enabled you must first download and install the Device Monitor. The minimum requirements (e.g. operating system, memory or hard disk space) to use the Device Monitor can be found in this article. If you are using an outdated version of the Device Monitor, you will be notified to update to the newest version when trying to open the application.
Follow the steps below to install or update the Device Monitor to the newest version.
Download and Installation of the Device Monitor
The Device Monitor can be downloaded (and the latest version updated if necessary) from any flow page where the use of the Device Monitor is required. This is shown below. The Device Monitor can also be installed from the system tab on a user's profile page.
- On a flow page, click Prepare Device Monitor and then Download latest version to download the latest version of the Device Monitor.
- When installed, you can check if the Device Monitor passes the system requirements. Click Test Device Monitor. This will open the monitor and do a system check. If it passes the system check, you are ready to use the Device Monitor in a flow and you can close the window.
If the system check does not pass, you will be told why the system check failed. Please also review our troubleshooting guide for more information.
In order for WISEflow Device Monitor to communicate with our servers, two outbound connections are established on the following ports:
- 80/TCP
- 443/TCP
- 8883/TCP
Make sure that neither of these ports are blocked by a firewall on the device running WISEflow Device Monitor.
